How to begin your Career

Our dental assisting classes have open enrollment in February and September.

We will have an Orientation Meeting to answer any questions you may have about our course and to provide a chance for you to meet instructors and new students enrolled in the class.

We have enclosed some registration material for those who wish to reserve a place in that class. Since the class fills up quickly, we suggest that you mail in your deposit as soon as possible. If you would like to visit our facility, we encourage you to do so. Please call our office at 207-939-5527 or 207-939-5527 and ask to speak with Bernadette. I’ll arrange an interview for you.

The course is designed to give the student maximum “hands-on” training and experience in an actual dental office. The teaching is stimulating, fast paced, and relies heavily on individual participation. The largest size of the one group is one instructor per six students. This ensures personal attention and a worthwhile learning experience. A syllabus containing notes on all lectures material as well as excellent textbooks are provided so as to heighten the classroom experience and eliminate excessive not taking.

A career of helping people improve their dental health will be rewarding and enormously satisfying for you. No two days will ever be the same and your job will continuously renew itself. It is a career that will always be in demand and in need of capable, trained and caring dental assistants.

Please read over the information and call us if you have any questions. The staff and I look forward to seeing you in our class!
